The Keg Steakhouse Bar - Waterloo: Exceptional Dining Experience Awaits

I love going here. It’s such a great restaurant. Steak always on point - delicious, made perfectly. The staff are all so friendly and kind. Our waitress was such a great person, funny, prompt, and helpful. Me and my partner go for all our special occasions and we are never disappointed. Food comes fast, always made fresh, delicious and almost as if so much care is put into each dish. I had a few sangrias and they were honestly the best I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend to go for any occasion!!!!!

The Keg in Waterloo has consistently gone above and beyond to provide an exceptional dining experience, especially for someone like me with celiac disease. They are incredibly knowledgeable and careful when it comes to gluten-free options, making me feel completely safe every time I dine there. Most times, a manager visits the table to ensure my order is handled properly, which is so reassuring. They even take the extra step of serving my plate separately from those containing gluten, which shows just how seriously they take food safety. As for the food, it’s absolutely incredible! The steak is always cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. I always start with a Caesar salad (no croutons, of course), and it’s consistently fresh and delicious. The Keg doesn’t just provide great food; they offer peace of mind for those of us with dietary restrictions.

The food was wonderful, all cooked perfectly. Nothing was too intense, in terms of flavour or texture, and the portions were generous. Special shoutout to Rachel, who acted as server for my meal. They were kind, attentive, and very friendly. Second experience with The Keg, and while the price can be steep, it's fair for what you get, and I hope to be able to have another lovely time, particularly at this location.

The food was okay, presentation was excellent and very good service. I had the sirloin and added shrimp and scallop Oscar. The steak was very bland.The shrimp and scallop were room temp and over cooked with little flavour. The Vegetables were very well made with just the right amount of seasoning.

Really love the ambiance here. Well all the Keg is a really romantic setting to be in with you significant other . Review of The Keg, Waterloo I made reservations at The Keg to celebrate a birthday at 7 PM. As plans often change, I needed to shift the time a bit and informed Keith, who took my reservation. Another staff member was kind and responsive, assuring me that pushing it out by 20 minutes was no issue. As usual, the atmosphere inside was elegant and soothing. We were quickly seated, and Mandy V (Amanda) came to serve us. My wife figured out that Mandy is short for Amanda, but please don't call her that! Mandy was very pleasant and attentive. Food Recommendations: - **Calamari:** Absolutely to die for with that sauce. Fresh and perfectly paired - **Wings:** Not spicy for me, despite Mandy's warning. They were good, especially with the goat cheese. - **Pork Back Ribs:** Served with garlic mashed potatoes. Sooo good, definitely go for it. - **Filet Mignon:** Ordered medium well with greens and mushrooms. Soft, succulent, and not overcooked. - **Rib Steak:** The birthday girl had this medium. Soft and delicious. Don't forget the sauce—it pairs well with any steak. **Drinks:** - **Champagne:** Skip it if you just order it; it was pretty flat with not much bubble. **Dessert:** - Mandy brought a complimentary large slice of cheesecake with a single candle for the birthday girl. This was such a treat, and we appreciated the gesture. Definitely the place to go celebrate a special occasion.

Recently visited this location with a friend who was visiting from out of town. Our servers name was Sam. She was so sweet we both were in awe during our dinner. We had a lovely conversation with her at the end but above all, the service was excellent throughout. She had such a warm and inviting spirit and I am certain to return there because of her. Thank you, Sam! Oh and the steak always slaps.

I got the Teriyaki Sirloin, cooked Medium Rare and it was cooked perfectly! It was tasty! The environment was also nice, definitely a good spot for a date. The service was average but not bad! Definitely worth a try if you find yourself in Waterloo.

I like the food here, many options and great atmosphere! The bread is also really good and we always love it! Wish they had the roast but unfortunately it was sold out when we went!
